From a pandemic Slack channel to a regulated-data platform.
It started in 2020. The world had gone remote, every regulated industry was suddenly running on cloud tools nobody had vetted, and the people who actually understood privacy and AI risk were spread across video calls trying to keep up.
Sudhir Sahu pulled a small group together — privacy leads from BFSI and healthcare, AI specialists, compliance people who had lived through breaches. The shared question was simple: why does every privacy and AI risk program at our companies still run on spreadsheets and quarterly reviews?
The product that came out of that — ID-PRIVACY®, powered by our patented Cognoscible Compliance Engine (CCE®) — is what regulated organizations use to discover sensitive data, detect synthetic fraud, and govern AI models continuously. Not on a calendar.
The team is bigger now. The product covers more. The first principle hasn't changed: software that catches what spreadsheets can't, in time to do something about it.

DataSafeguard exists because regulated industries can't afford to discover a sensitive-data leak in a breach notification. Our job is to find it first and govern it from the moment it lands in a system.
The platform never sees your data unless it has to.
On-premises and hybrid deployments by default. Customer data stays inside the customer's environment. We make money from selling the platform, not from looking at what runs through it.
We measure ourselves by the audits our customers don't fail.
Every product decision starts with the question: does this make a regulator's question easier to answer in writing? If the answer is no, we ship something else.

Our patented Cognoscible Compliance Engine (CCE®) is the core of ID-PRIVACY®. It's reviewed by independent privacy researchers, audited by our customers' AI committees, and explainable down to the rule that fired on any given decision.
